Teatime of the Soul

I had a proposal for a gallery show accepted a while back. My very first solo exhibit. Scary thought, and exciting. I’ve been planning and sketching ideas for a few months now, and the other day I finally got down to making a few prototypes.

The plan is to make one teacup for every book I own. Up there are cups for Searching for Dragons, by Patricia C. Wrede, Beholder’s Eye, by Julie E. Czerneda, Coraline, by Neil Gaiman, and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, by Douglas Adams. With the great production hammer that is Christmas looming over me, I doubt I’ll get the chance to make any more until the new year. But so far I’m happy with this little start.
