The Vesey’s catalogues are here. Oh my. I want all the plants. All the veggies, and all the flowers, and all the bushes, and even a few of the trees.
I do not have the space for all of these things.
I do not have the money for all of these things.
I do not have the time for all of these things.
I am, nevertheless, sitting in my PJs on day 2 of a lovely winter storm, configuring and reconfiguring clusters of imaginary plants. I will forgo the cherry bushes for now, I think, and focus on vegetable seeds. Maaaaaybe a hibiscus plant. (There were hibisci in Tampa, when I went to my first NCECA. I didn’t know they could survive outdoors in Canada, but there are apparently some hardy varieties.)
Oh, and strawberries. I want to start some strawberries. In containers, in the raised bed, in a new raised bed. It doesn’t matter. I want strawberries.
