The incomparable Laurie LeGrow started a lovely project a while back called Some Good Market. It’s a lovely farmers’/crafters’/cupcake-bakers’ extravaganza, held multiple weekends of the year, originally at Laurie’s place and more recently at the Makinsons Community Centre. I’ve wanted to go for ages, but a) don’t own a car and b) was spending the summer making pieces for the gallery show and couldn’t realistically fit in another craft fair.
Well, the next SGM will be held in town, on Saturday March 9th, at Canon Wood Hall. I will be there with Robots aplenty, and even some cephalopots if I can squeeze them into this weekend’s round of kiln firings.
